Let’s be honest Mondays can be a drag.

For a long time, I was never a fan of Mondays. I always dreaded when the day would come because I knew that, that meant it was the start of a new week, which meant that I had 5 whole days to go before I got to the weekend again. Mondays have always been hard days for me because I would be so tired and not ready to start a whole new week at all. I got use to relaxing and being lazy over the weekend that I never did anything to prepare myself for the week ahead. And this wasn’t only as a teenager, this lasted for most of my young adulthood as well.

However, the reality is that Mondays is a day of the week that can’t be skipped over. Whether we like it or not we have to greet Monday in order to greet any of the other days of the week. For those of us for usually don’t look forward to Mondays, what do we do about it? We create a routine that helps us prepare for the week ahead.

This routine needs to consists of various self-care practices that will help you get ready for the week ahead. It’s important to have a routine that helps you unwind from a busy weekend, or to restore energy from a relaxing weekend, because it’ll also help you reset and be emotionally, physically, and mentally prepared for the upcoming week.

5 Habits of Healthy People You Need to Adopt Today

What does it mean to be healthy?

This looks different for everyone. Some people think that being healthy is all a matter of the kinds of food you eat, and how much of it you eat in a day. Others may think being healthy is a matter of how often you exercise. The truth is, being healthy varies from person to person because the idea of what is considered healthy looks different on everyone.

My healthy may not be the same as your healthy, and there are a lot of factors to take into consideration when thinking about this.

However, I do think that there are common themes that exist for what it means to be healthy. These themes, or healthy habits, are all a part of what most would consider to be a healthy lifestyle. As you may or may not know, living a healthy lifestyle is more than just a decision that you wake up and decide to make one day. It’s a commitment and this is because it really does require you to make a lot of changes in various areas of your life.

While these themes are most certainly things that you can adopt right now, adopting them doesn’t necessarily mean that you are now officially living a healthy lifestyle. How to Stay Motivated to Exercise Daily

Do you find it hard to stay motivated to workout on a daily basis?

If so no worries, I use to be where you are years ago, and if I’m being honest, I struggle with this from time to time. However, over the past year I have discover tips and trick to keep me going, especially on days when I’m struggling to find the motivation to workout.

We’ll dive deeper into these tricks in a little bit, but first I want to talk about the importance of working out daily.

Working out in general is so good for your health.

Exercising consistently can help to boost your energy, improve muscle strength, improve your endurance, strengthen your cardiovascular system, as well as your heart and lung health. When your body and all the important organs are functioning as they should be, you not only extend your life years, but you’re setting yourself up to be in the best shape of your life for many years to come.

These are things that we all ultimately want for ourselves. To live longer and be as healthy as we possibly can be. Which means we have to work hard in order to achieve those results. For some this may be simply changing your diet and eating habits, for others this may mean adopting a consistent workout schedule. I know this question may come across as confusing because honestly, what does it mean to really care for your body? Honestly, I don’t think there is a straight forward answer about what body positivity specifically means, but I believe the underlying idea is choosing to love your body as it is, and in the many different ways that it will change over the years. The body you have today will not be the same body you will have a year from now. Which is why I think it’s important to learn how to be body positive for your health, not just your size.
